Core-Loc is a concrete armor unit for breakwaters and shore protection works. This is a HO/1:87 scale miniature, of a 3 meter Core-Loc. The model -which is hollow inside- consists of 7 parts, which are easily clipped together.

Painting/Assembly instructions
Advised color code for painting: RAL 7023 (Concrete Grey)
No glueing is required.
1. Clean the main Core-Loc part with a soft brush
2. (optional) some light sanding
3. Cut of 5 of the 6 caps from the sprue
note: do NOT remove the cap that is the extention of the sprue beam that carries the other 5 caps, as this cap is to be used temporarily as paint holder of the Core-Loc! (see photo)
4. Insert the 5 caps into the Core-Loc holes by gently pushing them in; make sure they align properly
5. (optional) some fine sanding of the caps
6. Gently (!) push the cap which is the extention of the sprue beam partially in the 6th open cap of the Core-Loc (it should just stick)
7. (spray) paint the Core-Loc, by holding it at the beam (see photo)
8. After drying, gently pull out the cap with sprue beam from the Core-Loc
9. Cut of the 6th cap from the beam sprue
10. Insert the 6th cap into the remaining hole of the Core-Loc (like step 4)
